This document more specifically outlines the extension to my innovation plan which I have previously mentioned here. Through my “project-based e-learning” plan, students will have the opportunity to own their learning by collaboratively completing a semester-long project that incorporates the use of 21st century skills to solve a real-world problem or question (see my BHAG below) in a small group.
My Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG):
The student will collaboratively solve a real-world problem or question using 21st century skills and digital tools through a project-based e-learning context.

This document was guided by Dr. L. Dee Fink’s A Self-Directed Guide to Designing Courses for Significant Learning (2003). In her guide, she provides many worksheets that helps an educator design a course step by step.
